Leveraging Generative AI to Illuminate Learning in the Humanities
Jess Hatzidakis, Bedford High School, and Craig Sheil, Digital Learning Speciailst, and Laura DeRosa, Bedford High School
*
Level: Beginner

Discover how humanities teachers at the high school level are taking the opportunity to thoughtfully integrate generative AI into the classroom. In particular, they will highlight how SchoolAI can be used to focus students on the task at hand to guide and support them throughout the writing process, rather than using AI to do the work for them. Come with an open mind and learn how you, too, can create your own chatbot experiences for your students. Participants should bring a device to actively participate in generative AI spaces created. (75-minute interactive workshop)
