Ensuring digital accessibility is no longer optional---it is essential for equitable access to education and public services. This session shares how a public school assistive technology team initiated and scaled a districtwide effort to align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), while extending that work beyond schools to include municipal partners such as local police, the public library, and town hall. Attendees will learn how a small team leveraged existing resources, built cross-agency partnerships, and developed practical workflows to move from awareness to implementation. This presentation highlights actionable strategies, lessons learned, and tools that can be replicated in other districts and communities. |
