Evolution of Growing Readers Betsy Damon, Library Media Specialist (K-5), Beech Street Elementary School

In this session participants will learn about our K-5 school-wide reader engagement program and how it has evolved from a small school to a larger school and from paper-only to a hybrid paper and digital version. In addition to learning about the home-grown program overall, we will discuss the logistics of tracking by school, grade, class, and student and how students monitor their own progress taking responsibility for their own success and growth. Bonus content includes information on bulk-creating end-of-year certificates for all students.
