NHCTO SpotLight speaker and Director of Technology-CISO at Hillsboro-Deering School District, Neal Richardson will continue to expand upon the tenets presented by our Wednesday keynote speaker, Jason Sgro. Data security truly is "everyone's business", but what does that look like from the perspectives of support staff, educators, leadership, and administrators. This panel, moderated by Neal, includes representation from various key stakeholders within the education system. Members from IT support, educators who directly work with student data, school leadership involved in policy-making, and district administrators responsible for compliance and risk management are all represented. Together, they explore how each group plays a vital role in ensuring data security, sharing practical strategies and real-world examples of fostering a culture of cybersecurity in schools. Expect a dynamic discussion on how to implement security measures in ways that are practical, scalable, and effective across different levels of the organization.
