Honoring CBE Practices in Our SIS Erica Pappalardo, Curriculum Coordinator, Inter-Lakes School District, and Mark Parsons, Inter-Lakes School District

In this session, Inter-Lakes School District will share our eight-year journey of implementing Competency-Based Education practices. Specifically, we will highlight the development of core philosophies and beliefs about instruction and assessment practices and review how those beliefs impacted grading and grade reporting practices. We will then share how these practices were integrated into our student information system (SIS). Participants will be encouraged to provide feedback, ask questions, and will leave with a self-assessment tool to bring back to their own districts and schools.
