With social media dominating how we communicate and consume information, media literacy is crucial to teach our students. Based on the work of Learn21's deep dive into media literacy laws across the U.S. for ISTE Community Leaders, this informative session will provide educators with a survey of media literacy laws followed by strategies and resources to develop students' media literacy skills. Attendees will learn how to get students thinking critically about the media they interact with and empower them to make smart choices online.
