Rev Up Your PD: Fuel Personalized Learning with a Tech Fair Deborah Dyer, Digital Learning Specialist, Epping Middle High School, and Leanne Chauvette, Epping Elementary School

Digital Learning Specialists Deborah Dyer and Leanne Chauvette will walk attendees through the entire process of organizing a district-wide technology fair - from identifying the needs, planning stages, securing resources, to the actual execution of the event. Emphasis will be placed on designing a fair that caters to the individual learning styles and needs of educators, offering a variety of formats and content, including hands-on workshops, roundtable discussions, teacher-led showcases, playgrounds, and self-directed learning. Practical, step-by-step strategies for orchestrating the fair will be provided, along with the use of collaborative platforms for planning and promoting the event. The presenters will showcase real-world examples, lessons learned, and the tools employed to ensure a successful event. In addition, the session will highlight how to gauge the effectiveness of the fair and measure its impact on participants' professional development. To facilitate this, techniques to gather, analyze, and respond to feedback from participants will be shared.
